Successful summer season 2010
Aviogenex has got successful summer season 2010. It is proved by the fact that more than 90 000 passengers were carried and over 500 return flights were operated by Boeing 737-200 and Boeing 737-500. For summer season 2010 Aviogenex contracted charter flights with leading tourist agencies in Serbia and successfully operated all such flights with regularity more than 90%. We operated to 20 destinations in seven countries, such as Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt. Destinations such as Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada in Egypt are still attractive and flights to such destinations have been operated during autumn and winter 2010/2011, as well.

Successful EASA audit
In the period of 18th - 29th October 2010 EASA expert team, within their regular visit, audited Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and air carriers in respect of implementation of European standards in the field of traffic activities and airworthiness.On 21st October 2010 EASA expert team, among their other activities, audited CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) and MOE (Maintenance Organisation Exposition) organisation in Aviogenex. According to the first preliminary results, EASA team was satisfied very much with implementation of respective European standards by this air carrier.

Aviogenex extends the lease of B737 to Jat Airways
Aviogenex has extended the lease of Boeing 737-200 for Serbian national airline Jat Airways relating to winter season 2010/2011. Aviogenex and Jat Airways agreed to extend wet-lease agreement adding Aviogenex`s B737 to Jat Airways`s fleet operating scheduled flights across Europe. During the previous years Aviogenex already operated under the same agreement and covered different destinations across Europe on scheduled flights (London, Rome, Milan, Athens, Stockholm, Moscow, Copenhagen, Skopje, Podgorica, Tivat…).

New AOC and Certificate of Airworthiness
Aviogenex got from Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia a new Airworthiness Review Certificate valid till Aug.2011 and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) valid till Sept.2012.

Wet lease agreement with Jat Airways and MAT Airways
This year Aviogenex has signed a wet lease agreement with MAT Airways and included in Aviogenex fleet Boeing 737-500, for the first time. Aviogenex has also signed wet lease agreement with Serbian national airline Jat Airways for summer season 2010 concerning Aviogenex flights.

"C" check completed for YU-ANP
Approved maintenance organization, pursuant to EASA Part 145, completed “C” check on Aviogenex’s B737-200 which is now ready for another 4 000 flight hours.

New teaser for privatization announced
Privatization Agency of the Republic of Serbia has announced a teaser for Aviogenex with some new details about investment opportunities. First EASA AOC in Serbia
Aviogenex' Airline Operator Certificate (AOC) was renewed by Serbian CAD under EASA regulation, promoting Aviogenex as the first airline holding this certificate in the region. This respresents an acknowledgement of the most stringent standards for safety and quality under which Aviogenex operates.

Celebrating 40 years of charter operations
On April 30th, 1969 Aviogenex operated its first flight from Belgrade to Dusseldorf on a Tu-134 aircraft. This milestone anniversary has seen the company grow from a small operator to one of the most prominent and leading charter airlines in Europe, having operated on six continents - flying under charter, sub charter and wet lease agreements.
