History
Air Charter Company Aviogenex from Belgrade has more than 42 years of worldwide experience in flying under charter, sub charter and wet lease agreements. Aviogenex was founded in April 1968 as an air transport division. First 23 years untill 2001 we flew in Euro Mediterranean region about 210 000 hours within Charter Airlines Group (Yougotours and Aviogenex) as a part of GENERALEXPORT, a holding corporation dealing in international and domestic trade from Belgrade, known in public as GENEX. We achieved our greatest result in 1990 with 10 aircraft (5 aircraft B727 and 5 B737) reaching 17000 flight hours per year.
Since 1991 we have oriented to leasing of aircraft and crews, and achieved more than 40000 flight hours. We have been flying all over Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East, South America...
New Principles
In year 2001 Aviogenex started creating new company’s basic principles, which are also defined as the structure of the future. We are going towards the necessary transformation at all levels following:
- profitability
- restructuring
- fleet renewal
- implementation standards JAR / EASA / IOSA
- be part of integrated charter airlines groups
- privatization
Today, Aviogenex is certified under EASA regulations and owns a B737-200 Stage III aircraft. We have highly qualified pilots and a team of experienced technical experts to guarantee your safety while kind air hostesses take care of passengers and their needs.
Diversity
Long standing experience qualifies Aviogenex for rendering the following services:
- International and domestic charter operations
- Leasing out the aircraft with or without crew and technical personnel (Dry or Wet Lease)
- Rendering services in the field of transfer of technology/know-how and logistic support
- AGX Engineering Dept. is entitled to maintain Boeing B727-200 and B737-200 aircraft, all the way to "B"-check level, and to operate certain maintenance facilities (workshops) for its own needs and for the needs of others
- Aviogenex has its own Training Center approved by the Ministry for Transportation of the Republic of Serbia for the education and training of its flight and ground staff, cockpit and cabin crew.
- Carriage of cargo and special cargoes
- Ad-hoc transport arrangements for special purposes (artistic tours, football matches, VIP flights etc)
